GeoJournal
GeoJournal is your personal place diary. Save the spots you love, enrich them with photos, notes and tags, and find them again on the map or in the calendar.

📍 SAVE YOUR SPECIAL PLACES
Add a point on the map in one tap. Give it a title, a description, an emoji and tags so you can recognise it instantly. Rate it with stars to remember the places that impressed you most.

🗺️ EXPLORE ON THE MAP
View all your points on an interactive map (OpenStreetMap, no subscription needed). Tap a point to see its details, or use it as a starting point to open Google Maps.

📋 LIST & SEARCH
Browse your list of places, filter by tag or search by keyword. Keep everything organised your way.

📅 CALENDAR
Review your places day by day. See upcoming reminders and logged visits in a monthly view.

🔔 REMINDERS
Set a reminder to go back to a special place: a specific date, a yearly anniversary or a recurring notification.

📷 PHOTOS & SHARING
Add photos taken on the spot or from your gallery. Share a single point as a .geoj file with anyone who has GeoJournal.

💾 BACKUP & RESTORE
Export all your data to a ZIP file and import it on another device. Automatic daily backup to a path of your choice (including Google Drive).

☁️ CLOUD SYNC (optional)
Sign in with Google or email to sync your points across all your devices. Data saved offline is transferred automatically when you log in.

🔒 PRIVACY AND DATA CONTROL
You can use GeoJournal completely offline with no sign-up required: in that case, zero data leaves your device.

If you choose to log in, your points are synced to Firebase (Google) — a Google service linked to your account, not to our servers. We as developers do not collect or access your data.

You can delete your account and all your data at any time directly from the app: Profile → "Delete account and all data". No waiting, no emails to send.
