Created for children aged 6 to 11, MateMatt supports learning in a clear, gradual and motivating way. Each activity helps children understand the steps, not just find the final answer.
MateMatt is designed to support primary maths practice and is aligned with the skills and learning progression typically developed in the English National Curriculum, published by the Department for Education.
With MateMatt, children can practise:

Step-by-step guided lessons
MateMatt includes more than 209 structured lessons that support progressive maths learning. Activities show each step with simple explanations, clear examples and interactive exercises.
Children are guided to understand how to reach the answer. This makes the app useful for strengthening key skills, revising at home and approaching maths with more confidence.
Times tables, operations and calculation
MateMatt helps children practise essential primary maths skills: times tables, column methods, multiplication, division, mental maths and number reasoning. Exercises are progressive, so children can move forward calmly and without feeling overwhelmed.
Fractions explained clearly
MateMatt includes a complete learning path for fractions: comparing fractions, equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions, proper and improper fractions, mixed numbers, operations with fractions and progressive visual exercises.
Homework and reports for parents
Parents can assign maths homework and view progress reports. Reports help identify completed exercises, common mistakes, topics to revise and progress over time.
A learning path for primary school
MateMatt can be used for homework, daily revision, times tables practice, support with difficulties, consolidation of operations and preparation for school tests.
The goal is to make maths clearer, more organised and less frustrating, turning daily practice into a simple and calm habit.
Rewards and bonus games
MateMatt uses MattCoins as internal virtual rewards to recognise children’s effort. MattCoins can be used to access bonus games and extra activities, making practice more motivating.
