"Black Alpaca Strategist" is a pro-grade motorsport strategy & analysis app for teams competing in endurance races and track days. Replacing paper and stopwatches, it integrates everything needed for race strategy—dynamic fuel calculations, thermodynamic track temp prediction, and offline multi-device sync—into a single tablet.
[ Why do you need this app? ]
The pits are harsh: deafening noise, direct sunlight, and unstable internet. Designed with "connection drops" and "human errors" in mind, this app maintains P2P local sync offline and features a giant UI built for racing gloves. It serves as your team's reliable "brain."
[ Core Features ]
1. Zero Data Loss P2P Sync
No internet required. Host and viewer devices sync in real-time offline via Bluetooth/local Wi-Fi. Connect instantly via QR code. It automatically compensates for clock skew down to the millisecond, perfectly syncing pit stop timers across all screens.
2. Dynamic Fuel & Pit Window
Auto-calculates dynamic fuel economy (km/L) from lap times and consumption. Instantly visualizes remaining laps and optimal pit windows. Tracks consumption fluctuations during SC/FCY and simulates the impact of fuel weight on pace.
3. Next-Gen AI Strategist (Pro / Internet Req.)
Linked with cloud AI, it analyzes your telemetry.
- Tire Cliff Prediction: Predicts the exact lap when times will drop, factoring in driver skill, drivetrain, weight, and track temp.
- Human-in-the-loop: Engineers can input intuitions (e.g., "weather worsening") for the AI to calculate conservative alternative scenarios.
- What-If Analysis: Post-race analysis (e.g., "what if we stayed out?") for future improvements.
4. Dynamic Track Evolution Model
Equipped with a world-first "Track Aging Engine." Incorporates pace advantages (up to -2.0s) and wear reduction into physical simulations based on days since a circuit's resurfacing. Resurfacing schedules are auto-updated via OTA on launch.
5. Track Temp Prediction & Weather Radar
Auto-estimates track temp using a thermodynamic algorithm factoring in air temp, weather, wind, and thermal lag. Auto-fills atmospheric pressure via device sensors. A built-in Weather Radar predicts imminent changes.
6. "Zero-Mistake" UI for Extreme Conditions
- Fat-Finger Giant Numpad: Reliable input with gloves.
- Haptic Feedback: Detects input errors without looking.
- High-Contrast Blackout Mode: Visibility in direct sunlight or midnight pits.
- Eco Mode: Minimizes system resources to prevent thermal runaway.
7. Lap Charts & Data Management
Assign flags (spins, traffic) with color badges. Visualize "true pace" corrected for fuel weight and tire degradation. Export/import all data as CSV via ZIP for seamless team sharing.
