Powered by a sophisticated BFS-based animated route finder, EGK MyMRT Map calculates optimal paths across lines like the Kajang Line (green), Putrajaya Line (yellow), Kelana Jaya Line (red), Ampang Line (orange), Sri Petaling Line (purple), KL Monorail (mint), and KTM lines (blue for Port Klang, brown for Batu Caves). Input your start and end points—e.g., Ampang Park to Bukit Jalil—and get step-by-step directions, including transfers at hubs like KL Sentral, Chan Sow Lin, or Titiwangsa. Durations estimate 2 minutes per station plus 5 minutes for transfers, with random variance for realism, reflecting real-world times like 45 minutes from Sungai Buloh to Pasar Seni.
The interactive SwiftUI map uses normalized geographic coordinates to plot stations accurately, color-coded by line for quick recognition. Zoom and pan to view dense networks without clutter—unique display names prevent overlaps, and highlighted black routes guide your journey. Location services via CoreLocation list the nearest five stations, ideal for on-the-spot decisions near landmarks like KLCC or Bukit Bintang.
Our comprehensive database covers all major lines: Kajang Line from Sungai Buloh to Kajang with 31 stations and key interchanges; Putrajaya Line spanning Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral; Kelana Jaya Line's 37 stations from Gombak to Putra Heights; Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines branching from Chan Sow Lin; Monorail looping central KL; and KTM commuter routes. Each station includes name, coordinates, next/previous links, and transfers for seamless navigation.
The UI is sleek: Gradient background, simple search fields, "Find Route" and "Clear" buttons, and scrollable results with colored icons. No-route alerts ensure user-friendly experience. Privacy-focused, it requests location only when needed.
