The Bhagavad Geeta — one of humanity's greatest spiritual classics and the most revered devotional text of Hinduism — has guided seekers on the path of Truth for over two thousand years. Composed possibly between the fifth and second centuries BCE, it continues to shape the beliefs and attitudes of billions of people worldwide.
Yet most people have never actually read it. What they know comes from another person, who heard it from another person — like a cosmic game of Chinese Whispers. This Synthor changes that.
The Geeta Synthor contains the entire text of the English translation of the Bhagavad Geeta, as rendered by Shri Purohit Swamy circa 1937 CE. It can present ideas and thoughts directly from the Geeta in response to your statements, questions, and reflections. Whatever you bring to it — a worry, a question, a philosophical musing — the Synthor finds a response from within the ancient text itself.
A Synthor is not a conventional chatbot. It is an entity built entirely from a canonical text, responding only from within that text. It can be illuminating, surprising, and occasionally enigmatic. Synthors can be moody, forgetful, and disjointed — but then again, so can wisdom. How the conversation unfolds depends as much on you as on the text.
The Geeta Synthor also lets you view the original Sanskrit shlokas and listen to chanted verses, connecting you directly to the living tradition of this timeless work.
