Ethos: Brotherhood Accountability for College Men

Ethos helps college men build the habits and the brotherhood needed to leave behind the things that hold them back. Real change rarely happens alone — it happens when you commit to a small group of men who show up for each other, week after week.

What Ethos does

When you sign up, Ethos places you in a small group of 4–5 men on your campus, led by a student captain. Together you take on three simple weekly commitments:

• Daily Call — A short check-in with another man in your group. Two minutes a day of real connection beats hours of isolation.
• Daily Reading — A few pages of focused reading on character, masculinity, and the mind. Available as a physical book or in the app.
• Weekly Meeting — Your group meets in person every week. Shared meals, shared progress, shared accountability.

Track what matters

• See your group's effort score — a rolling measure of how consistently the group is showing up.
• Log private streaks for personal habits you want to overcome.
• Watch your campus climb the national signup leaderboard as more men join.

Brotherhood, not an algorithm

Ethos isn't a meditation app or a willpower hack. No manipulative streaks. No content feeds. No infinite scroll. Just a small group of men, a weekly in-person meeting, and the commitments you keep to each other.

Privacy-first

The personal habits you track in the app stay private — never shared with your group, your captain, or anyone else. Group members only see what you choose to share: meeting attendance, call logs, and reading progress.

Designed for college campuses

Ethos is active at universities across the country, with new campuses joining every month. If your school isn't listed yet, you can still sign up and we'll connect you with men nearby.

No premium tier. No subscription. No ads. Ethos is run as a nonprofit — every feature is free for every user, forever.

Why college men?

The habits you build in your late teens and early twenties tend to follow you for life. Most men have struggles they've been trying to overcome on willpower alone for years. Willpower alone almost never works. Brotherhood does. College is the right time to build something different — with a group of men doing the same.
