الوصف
NEW: ROUND TIMER (ANDROID APP ONLY)
Set the round length (30 seconds to an hour) under the Mix buttons and start it with each Mix, or by hand. Then put the phone in your pocket.
• A countdown on your lock screen, with the time it rings
• At zero it rings like an alarm: at alarm volume, even in silent mode, for up to a minute or until you silence it from the notification, the app, a paired watch, or by tapping Mix for the next round
• Ring with the Horn, eight other tones, or your phone's own alarm sound
The timer needs the "Alarms & reminders" permission to ring on time; the app asks for it.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Most "mixers" and round robin generators shuffle names and hope for the best. PickleMixer remembers every game in the session and searches directly for a round where nobody repeats a partner or an opponent; when no such round exists, a genetic algorithm evolves thousands of candidate rounds and picks the best. Partner history, sit-out time, and ratings all count, every round. Not just random: optimized.
CORE FEATURES (FREE, NO ACCOUNT)
• Works offline: mixes keep generating when the Wi-Fi drops
• Fixed partners: link couples or training partners
• Prefer mixed doubles or single-gender courts: uneven numbers don't break the mix; it still fills courts as best it can
• Rating-balanced courts: set a rating per player and keep games close
• Sit-outs rotated evenly, odd player counts handled
• Bad court distribution: that one bad court gets shared fairly
• VIP protection: mark players who should not sit out
• Big-screen mode for a TV or projector, with an auto-mix countdown and the same buzzer sounds
• Works on any device, up to 150 players
FREE PICKLEFRIEND ACCOUNT (OPTIONAL)
Sign up free to run a group, not just a session:
• Save a roster (one group, up to 19 players) so next week starts pre-filled
• Set player ratings and let the mixer balance courts by skill
• Schedule events with invites, RSVPs, capacity caps, and waitlists
• Send announcements and event reminders
• Player schedule pages: players see events and RSVP with no account and no app
• Score entry is included free for your first month
PAID PLANS (FOR BIGGER CLUBS)
Lite ($19/yr): up to 100 saved players and 5 groups, cloud session backup, and Nonstop Courts.
Pro ($39/yr): unlimited players and groups, score entry from players' own phones, Elo ratings built from games, ladder leagues with automatic promotion and relegation, Box League, and co-organizers.
Club ($59/yr): everything in Pro with unlimited co-organizers, for commercial club use.
Every paid plan starts with a 10-day free trial. The mixer itself never needs any of it.
NONSTOP COURTS
No rounds, no waiting for the slowest game. Each court's next game starts the moment that court is free: the server picks the next four players, their phones buzz "Court 3, you're up," and the TV shows the call. Lite and up, free during your first month.
