I opened the built-in Camera app to record a video and watched 9% of the battery disappear in just 10 minutes.
Replacing the battery or buying a new phone wasn't an option.
So I built LBC.
In the same 10-minute recording test, LBC used just 3% battery — about one third of the drain.
That experience became the idea behind LBC:
What if an older phone could still be a great camera, even when its battery isn't what it used to be?

Older devices can still be useful, even when their batteries have degraded and newer apps feel increasingly demanding.
LBC focuses on one thing: helping you capture photos and videos while using less battery.
It's made for long recording sessions, travel, events, outdoor moments, and those times when you don't have a charger nearby.
Choose your recording quality, use the volume buttons to capture, dim the screen when you need to, and keep the experience simple.
Newer phones are welcome too. But older devices are where LBC really belongs.
TURN OFF THE LIGHTS
There's a simple habit we have at home:
When we leave the house, we turn off the lights we don't need.
It saves electricity. And if we're not using the light, why keep it on?
I thought the same thing about the phone screen.
When you're recording for a long time, you don't always need the screen to stay bright. The camera can keep recording even when you don't need the display lighting up the whole time.
That's why LBC has the Moon button.
Tap it when you want to dim the screen while continuing to record.
It's a small feature, but it's part of the idea behind LBC:
