Book Test Library
Book Test Library is a app that lets you pick up a paper book and know ANY WORD from ANY BOOK in our library of HUNDREDS of books.

It's the fastest way to secretly look up any word from a book during a live performance. Just enter a page number, line, and word, and the result appears instantly. All lookups happen offline on your device, so there's no lag and no internet needed.

Whether you're doing close-up mentalism or working a stage, there are tons of ways to get your information in and out without anyone catching on.

8 input methods to fit any performance style:

Manual keypad for quick, direct entry
Voice recognition so you can go completely hands-free
Versa Bluetooth remote for wireless control from across the room
PeekSmith integration for input and output on one tiny device
Notes disguise that looks exactly like you're jotting something down
Web Search disguise that looks like you're browsing Safari
Pocket Writer for gesture-based input
API listener for custom setups and external app control

5 discreet output methods:

Screen Peek shows the word on a dimmed black screen, only visible at your angle
Fake Lock Screen hides the result right on what looks like a normal lock screen
Earpiece reads the word to you through Bluetooth audio
PeekSmith sends it straight to your external display
Send to Actions passes the result to ThoughtCast Actions for even more automation
Powerful lookup modes beyond just page/line/word:

Look up the first word on a page, the last word on a line, the longest word on a line, words starting or ending with a specific letter, or do a reverse search to find every location where a particular word appears in the book.

  • - New: Reverse Dictionary Lookup. After a lookup, the app can also show where the result word appears in a dictionary (page, column, word) - on screen, spoken via the earpiece, and on PeekSmith/Mr Card. Turn it on in Settings and pick a dictionary. Plurals and possessives fall back to the base word (dogs/dog's -> dog).
    - New: search box at the top of the Library to filter books by title or author.
    - Fewer accidental sign-outs; the login screen now shows why if it happens.
