your own growing neighbourhood.
You start with a small piece of land and a simple business. From there, you
decide how the city should grow. Buy new lots, place businesses on the map and
watch your streets slowly fill with shops, restaurants, parks and landmarks.
The city is always moving forward, even when you are away. Your businesses keep
earning idle income in the background, so coming back to the game always feels
like opening the door to a city that has been busy while you were gone. Collect
your earnings, choose the next upgrade and decide where your next expansion
should go.
Construction takes time, but it is part of the fun. You can see the work happen
on the map as cranes, workers, materials and scaffolding gradually turn an empty
lot into a finished building. Once a business is open, keep an eye on its level,
production and maintenance so it can continue earning at its best.
There is no single correct way to build Golden District. You can focus on
earning as much as possible, collect different types of businesses, expand the
map one neighbourhood at a time or simply create a city that looks the way you
want it to look.
As your city grows, the game gives you more ways to play. Dynamic missions are
created around your progress and reward you with coins, XP and occasional
special rewards. The Legacy system gives you permanent perks that improve the
economy, construction speed, offline earnings, taps, missions and boosters.
You can also unlock fixed landmarks that give the city a stronger identity and
help shape its skyline.
