Once a prayer time begins, Nafs Guard places a calm, non-intrusive full-screen overlay over your phone. It temporarily locks access to apps, allowing you to disconnect from the digital world and connect with Allah.
🔕 Do Not Disturb (DND) Integration
Automatically silences incoming ringing calls and notifications during Salat to protect your focus and maintain silence in the Masjid.
Note: The prayer lock can be minimized during critical incoming calls when necessary.
🌐 Local Content Filtering (DNS Blocker)
Locally blocks distracting or explicit websites during designated prayer windows to prevent cognitive distraction, helping you remain focused throughout your worship.

📱 Display Over Other Apps (Overlay)
Required to display the prayer lock screen over other applications when Salat begins.
🔕 Do Not Disturb Access
Allows Nafs Guard to automatically silence calls and notification sounds during prayer times.
🌐 VPN Service Permission
Used exclusively to implement local DNS-based content filtering during prayer windows. No internet traffic is monitored, stored, or transmitted to external servers.
⏱️ Foreground Service
Ensures prayer schedules, reminders, and protection features continue running reliably without being interrupted by Android's battery optimization.
