2. Analoge und digitale Welt vereint: Rätsel-Dokumente, die bei jeder Mission vorher ausgedruckt werden müssen, bieten analoge Rätsel. Hin und wieder gibt es digitale Elemente, die im Internet entdeckt werden müssen. In der App werden Lösungen eingegeben, Hinweise und die Story abgerufen.
3. Simple LOCKDOWN Adventures-App: Die App führt durch das Spiel, die Bedienung funktioniert intuitiv und für jeden nachvollziehbar.

Inspiration für das Abenteuerspiel sind die „Escape Rooms“, ein seit Jahren wachsender Freizeittrend. Spieler auf der ganzen Welt lassen sich in Rätsel-Räume einsperren, um daraus zu entkommen. LOCKDOWN Adventures bringt diesen Spielspaß auf den Wohnzimmertisch. Das Spiel kombiniert eine digitale App mit analogen Rätseln.
Zu jeder Escape-Room-Mission gehört ein Rätsel-Dokument, das du vor dem Spielen ausdrucken musst. Dort findest du alle Aufgaben, die für das Spiel benötigt werden. Die Unterlagen müssen zum Lösen der Rätsel oft beschrieben, gefaltet, zerschnitten und wieder zusammengeklebt werden. Die liebevoll in Szene gesetzten Rätsel machen Lust auf mehr! Die LOCKDOWN Adventures-App gibt dem Escape Room seinen Rahmen – hier werden die Lösungs-Kombinationen der Rätsel eingegeben. Außerdem gibt es Story-Fragmente, atmosphärische Hintergrundmusik und Hinweise, falls du mal nicht weiterkommen solltest.
Die App selbst ist kostenlos, in der App steht eine kostenfreie Test-Mission zur Verfügung. In „Das Geheimnis der Kiste“ wachst du in einer Holzbox auf. Wie bist du hierher gekommen? Finde es heraus, löse die Rätsel und entkomme aus der Kiste! Weitere Missionen gibt es für 1,99 Euro (einfachere Spiele) und 3,99 Euro (aufwändigere Spiele) als In-App-Kauf. Nach dem Kauf erhältst du jeweils einen Code, mit dem du dir die entsprechende Missions-PDF auf der Website von LOCKDOWN Adventures herunterladen kannst, um sie auszudrucken.
