This game has no final goal (or does it?) and gets really difficulty. It’s an almost unbeatable game due to it’s generic increasing difficulty levels: After you’ve succeeded the current difficulty level, the next one starts immediately after a short break. For the first few difficulty levels you’ll be able to survive but later it will get almost impossible to smash all the attack waves of the invaders coming through the portals.
To reach a good rank at the highscore of the world you are currently playing in you should switch between aggressive and defensive strategies and try what works best for you. The higher the difficulty level the more galaxy invaders will spawn at the portals and at difficulty levels above 10 the avoidance of collisions will get almost impossible. But there are ways how you can survive those super difficult circumstances: items! Gravity Wars - Clash of Dimensions has an item mechanism that you may now from RPGs. Every invader can drop items in one of three item qualities:
- Green (those drops activate immediately after a collision with you)
- Blue (Temporary Items which you can collect and manage at your inventory)
- Epic purple items (rare and powerful items, you really want those!)
There are items which will make you stronger, items which boost your avatar’s progress, items that will enable you to fly, items which will power up your weapon, items …
You should switch them permanently and try which item combination works best four you.
Also, you don’t necessarily have to wait for your super rare epic drop: If you’ve collected enough cash, you can buy every item at the inventory of your galaxy defender!
And this is how the game works: You have to smash your enemies by flinging your neon green weapon into the them. The galaxy invaders will spawn within an attack wave at the portals and every difficulty level has multiple attack waves which you have to survive until the next one starts. Everything (beside by you!) is freed from gravity and flies through the geometric worlds like little asteroids coming from outer space. Depending on the geometry of the world you are currently fighting in they will bounce of the borders and switch direction more or less calculable. For example, if you are playing in a world where the geometry is similar to a circle, everything is more likely to fly through the center of the stage. Those stages are the easier ones because you can have a good overview about all active objects which support you in avoiding collisions. In contrast, if you are playing in a more open world, there will be more chaos and you’ll more likely to loose overview.

- Entirely new gameplay.
- Unbeatable game, the more attack waves you smash the more difficulty it will get!
- 11 unbeatable stages with an own highscore for each stage.
- Generic increasing difficulty levels.
- An item mechanism and an inventory where you can buy every item that can drop.
- A dimension’s portal at every stage where your enemies spawn. Prevent those areas to survive longer. Smash your enemies!
- A weird gravity and physics mix. Everything is freed from gravity and bounces of the walls besides by you.
