Περιγραφή
This strategic game features an asymmetrical hunt between a jaguar and a pack of dogs. Considered one of the oldest games in human history, it originates from the Bororo indigenous people in the Mato Grosso region of Brazil.
Passed down from generation to generation, it was even introduced to many Brazilian children at school. “Jogo da Onça” literally means “jaguar game” in Portuguese (onça refers to the jaguar), and the game is also known as Adugo.

Each side has a distinct objective: the jaguar wins by capturing at least six dogs, while the dogs win by completely immobilizing the jaguar. This asymmetry creates a unique challenge playing as the jaguar requires cunning and boldness, while playing as the dogs demands coordination and foresight.
