The social game Pinokio requires at least three players and consists of any number of rounds, making it an ideal party game for friends and family. Each round offers questions to choose from multiple categories, adding variety and diversity to the gameplay while keeping participants on their toes. Special adult-only categories are also available to add an element of spice for adult players who prefer more adventurous gameplay.
The Pinokio word game consists of three phases. At the beginning of each turn, the player whose name is displayed on the phone screen answers the question honestly. He then hands the phone to the next player, who must read the question and the predecessor's answer. The second player has the opportunity to get creative - he can present the same answer as the first player or come up with a new one, his goal being to confuse the rest of the participants.
The other players are put to the challenge of guessing whether the answer presented is the same as the first player's answer. Voting can be done in a number of ways, such as by writing TRUE/FALSE on cards or showing a number (1-TRUE, 2-FALSE) on your hand.
If you opt for the point counting mode, points are awarded based on the voting results.
