How to Play CallBreak
Call Break is an exciting, strategy-based card game for 4 players. Played with a standard 52-card deck, the goal is to win the exact number of tricks you bid. Sounds simple? It’s not! Here's a quick guide to get you started:
Dealing: Each player is dealt 13 cards in a clockwise direction. The dealer shuffles and gives one card at a time until everyone has their full hand.
Bidding:Now comes the strategy! Players declare how many tricks they aim to win in the round, with bids ranging from 0 to 13. This is your opportunity to predict how well your hand will perform!
Playing Tricks:
The player to the dealer's right leads with any card.
Follow the suit if you can; if not, play any card, including trumps (spades).
Spades trump other suits unless a higher spade is played.
Winning a Trick: The highest card of the leading suit wins unless a trump card takes the trick.
Scoring:
Meet or exceed your bid to score points equal to your bid.
Extra tricks add 0.1 points each.
Missing your bid deducts points equal to your bid.
Game Objective
The game is played over multiple rounds (usually 5), and the player with the highest total score at the end of all rounds wins the game. Strategy, skill, and luck all play a part in becoming the ultimate Call Break champion.
