With the resources, you collect, you can upgrade your robot. Early in the game, it's essential to boost the ability to acquire an additional drill. Depending on the skills you unlock, you can focus on enhancing HP or boosting your defense against enemy attacks. Alternatively, you might prioritize increasing critical hit damage or improving base attack strength. There are also special skills that equip your robot with extra weapons to help in fight scenarios.
This is a roguelike game, meaning that your hero not only gain experience with each victory, but also earns money to upgrade permanent attributes, which will carry over with you to each new planet you explore.
The skill system resembles the upgrade mechanics found in Survivor.io, while the visual aesthetic of the game is comparable to Ground Digger: Lava Hole Drill.
The overall setting is inspired by games like Dome Keeper, Wall World, and Drill Core, combining elements of survival, exploration, and deep space drilling.
The idle mechanics are similar to those seen in Cup Heroes, and the fast-paced, hyper-casual side of the game feels reminiscent of Auto Diggers.
"It has happened to you that you recycle robots or spacesuits for drills, then you dig and dig hoping to find some kind of bag of coins, but every time you crash into a gold mine. This golden bottom is like lava or an impassable wall that prevents you from getting to the very place you need. Every day I think about drilling at least a small hole in it. But every day my drills break. And when they break, they knock out a few golden fragments, but I believe that really cool upgrades are still waiting for us there, in the depths."
