Description
Virelia era um mundo onde a magia e a vida coexistiam em equilíbrio, onde os Guardiões da Luz do Santuário o mantinham há milênios.
Mas algo diferente despertou neste mundo pacífico. Uma força incontrolável que devora toda a vida que encontra, foi libertada após a reabertura do Abismo de Avh’ren, selado pelos primeiros Guardiões da Luz.
Você, um Nefilim, que após a súbita aparição de uma rocha obscura vinda do Abismo de Avh'ren, se depara com todos os seres vivos a sua volta sendo consumidos. Espantado com a situação, começa a ouvir sussurros nas sombras, que não só revelam segredos do mundo, mas também memórias que não são suas.
Os Males Primordiais, conhecidos desde os tempos antigos, não se sabe exatamente qual a verdadeira origem dos males. Antigos pergaminhos encontrados nas masmorras de Kraidun relatam a história de um Arcano poderoso, que ambicionava dominar as forças da natureza que regiam o mundo. Os Arcanos do Santuário o alertaram sobre as consequências de buscar tal poder, pois a energia da natureza, quando usada de forma egoísta, inevitavelmente corrompe. Ainda assim, ignorando os avisos, ele prosseguiu em seus experimentos proibidos, até ser banido do Santuário há muito tempo e selado no Abismo de Avh’ren.
A partir daqui o Nefilim começa sua aventura, seguindo os sussurros, em busca de recuperar o equilíbrio para seu mundo, em que outrora era próspero, mas agora estava à beira da ruína.
