Description
There are no gacha (loot boxes). There is no paid currency to buy with real money. Advertisements are limited to reward ads that you choose to view.
--Nestled in the mountains, there is a dilapidated inn.
There are no human staff. However, there are plenty of non-human beings.
Kappa (water goblins) polish the baths, monster cats lay out the futons, and lantern ghosts beckon guests from the night road. As the inn's owner, you must stand firm at the front desk.
Even if you do nothing, you will accumulate Yu-Tama (in-game points).
Whether you are working or sleeping, the yokai are working. While you are away, you can accumulate up to 8 hours' worth of Yu-Tama, and this limit can be extended by rebuilding the inn.
They have been working for a thousand years. There is no need to feel guilty about taking a rest.
■ Employees: Forty yokai.
Bathhouse attendant, maid, chef, gatekeeper, Zashiki-warashi (house spirit).
Forty yokai, each with different roles and personalities, are compiled in the "Yokai Record," complete with their individual illustrations and descriptions of their characteristics.
Akaname licks the grime from the bathwater to polish it. He doesn't consider it cleaning; it's just a late-night snack.
Amanojaku invites guests while saying, "Don't come!" A genius at reverse advertising.
■ The scenery changes with each rebuild.
When the inn has matured, "rebuild" it.
By inheriting the permanent enhancement through spiritual power, the next inn will grow faster and larger.
With each succession, the inn's scenery changes from the first to the sixth generation, with cherry blossoms, fireflies, maple leaves, snow, and the moon—new rooms and scenery unfold with each generation.
■ Hospitality is a short decision-making game.
Occasionally, we have guests with a bit of a peculiar personality.
"The dark road is unnerving. Could you come and meet me at the entrance?" -- Now, who will you send out?
It's a matter of quick reflexes and judgment to select the right yokai for your guest's wish.
Normal service is 15 seconds. For rare, special guests, a slightly longer time limit is provided.
Even if you get it wrong, the inn won't go bankrupt.
Special guests such as demon lords, dragon god messengers, and tanuki millionaires also occasionally visit. Successfully serving them will bring generous rewards.
■ Instead of gacha, there's matchmaking.
New yokai are welcomed at the "Shrine of Matchmaking."
The candidates change weekly. Choose one you like, offer yokai energy (which accumulates as you play), and that yokai will definitely become your companion.
Instead of the fun of drawing, we've replaced it with the fun of choosing.
■ Hot Spring Orbs accumulate.
The number of Yu-Tama (hot spring orbs) exceeds hundreds of millions, then trillions, and eventually reaches the capital.
The developers verified the growth curve over 90 days using an economic simulator. They prioritized the satisfying feeling of watching the numbers increase.
Even though it becomes less useful due to inflation, it's still somehow satisfying.
■ Your inn's journey becomes a title.
"The Bonds of the Five Yokai," "A Hundred Demons in Full Bloom"—your inn's journey is recorded in 41 achievements.
Upon achievement, you can display the title under your inn's curtain.
Welcoming yokai, rebuilding your inn, listening to their voices, entertaining guests, and leaving your own unique inn's journey.
■ About your wallet
・There is no gacha (loot box) system.
・There is no paid currency to buy with real money. You cannot purchase Yu-Tama, Yokai energy, or spiritual power.
・Advertisements are only optional reward ads. There are no banner ads or forced videos.
* If you have an ad-blocking charm, you can receive the corresponding ad rewards without watching the video. The maximum number of times you can receive each reward remains the same.
* In-app purchases are limited to 5 one-time purchase items. These include one type of ad-blocking charm and four cosmetic-only designs.
* The designs are "Two Inn Designs," "Maple Inn," "Firefly Inn," and "Moon-Viewing Inn." Each costs ¥480.
* The designs are cosmetic-only items that allow you to choose a set of signboard artwork and a Yokai Record backing/curtain. They do not affect Yu-Tama, Yokai Energy, Spiritual Power, Revenue, Progress, or Limits.
* There is no stamina system. There are no limited-time events where missing them puts you at a disadvantage.
* The shrine options change weekly, but there is no pressure to rush you.
