The scene opens on a professional stadium nestled within a majestic mountain range where intense floodlights illuminate every corner of the field, creating a tense atmosphere where every second matters. A determined cricket player stands ready at the crease, holding their position firmly as the match begins. The Wicket Defender offers a focused competitive experience on a horizontal field where the primary objective is to protect your goal while attempting to score against an opponent. This is a direct one-on-one confrontation between a human player and an artificial intelligence, where both participants are restricted to their own halves of the field to maintain tactical order. The player starts the match with a total of five lives, allowing for a small margin of error during high-speed exchanges. Each time the ball passes your defenses and enters the net, one life is lost from your remaining total. Once the life counter reaches zero, the match officially ends. To maintain the flow and logic of a professional sports match, after every goal, the ball reappears in the center of the field and travels towards the player who just conceded the point. Throughout the game, the system tracks the total round duration and the number of successful goals achieved by the player. These results are compiled and stored in the records section to allow for continuous tracking of personal achievements. The Wicket Defender ensures that your session is protected from outside interruptions through integrated logic. If the application is minimized or the user switches to a different task, the game automatically enters a pause state and displays a pause window. To continue the match, the player must manually dismiss this window, ensuring that no action is missed during the transition. Every save and every strike counts towards your ultimate success in this atmospheric sports simulation.
