It is a point of interaction between the insurer and the policyholder, allowing both sides to engage each other in a moment of need, cultivating an open and friendly relationship.
Without the cost of having to install any external device, such as a black box, Insurers are able to monitor and influence the driving habits and tendencies of Policyholders. MOTIX Drive starts tracking trips and evaluating driving style the instant it’s connected to the vehicle (via Bluetooth).
By using the driver's smartphone’s built-in sensors, like gyroscopes and motion sensors, the app becomes a virtual telematics black box.

For the insurer, the app allows faster and more accurate claims processing alongside the data collection. The driver can submit a claim through an in-app form adding all relevant information right at the spot of the misfortunate event: images, other involved parties' information and a description of the event itself or anything that the insurer has pre-required when customising the app with the MOTIX team.
