There’s never a wrong time to talk to God. But when you start your morning with him, you’re handing over the rest of your day to him too—putting God in the driver’s seat for the day. You can talk through your plans, listen to his wisdom, and hand over your worries to him. With God’s hands on your back, you’ll enter each day with his grace and mercy, ready for whatever the day brings. Add one of these daily morning prayers to your routine this week and watch God work in your life.

Our Father in heaven, how we love you; how you love us. A new day unfolds, and we desire that it is infused with our worship of you. As we turn our eyes on the beauty of you, our spirits lift and find peace. Please pour out your Spirit upon us today, so we can worship in fresh ways. We humbly ask for a deeper relationship with you, so we can have a heightened awareness of God’s presence in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.

Remove fear and anxiety. As believers, you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love power, and a sound mind. So when we are fearful, may we remember your love for us and use that love as the impetus to love others and see situations differently; may we tap into the power that you have given us – for we are never alone because you have not left us comfortless. May your wisdom be the underpinnings for our sound minds. May we remember that we don’t have to be anxious and when we are tempted to be anxious or worrisome, may we verbalize our concerns to you and then leave them there as you instructed us.

A morning prayer is a wonderful way to focus your time and attention on seeking God's plan for the day ahead. Whether you need encouragement, peace, strength, or rest, God can meet you in a very real and present way when you come before Him with a humble heart. Seek God's presence each morning before your energy and attention are pulled by all the tasks you have ahead.

How you start your day in the morning plays an essential part in how your day progresses, and ultimately, how it ends up. If we choose to roll out of bed and let life blindside us without spending some time with God, often the cares of life and the stress that comes with it can quickly overwhelm us. If our focus at the beginning of the day is on the challenges of life and not on God, it’s easy to lose our peace and stumble through the day on our heels.

Every morning when we awaken, we should greet the Lord and slip right into praying to Him. We should seek His heart about the questions we have and the ones that may arise throughout our day. He loves us more than we can know, and the time we spend with Him is precious and more vital than most realize.

Prayer is a powerful and transformative tool that allows us to connect with God and seek His guidance and presence in our lives. Making time for daily prayer can bring a sense of peace and grounding to our daily routine, and helps us to remember that we are not alone in our struggles and challenges. Whether we are facing joy or hardship, praying regularly can help us to find strength, comfort, and hope in God’s love and care for us. As we come before Him in prayer, we open our hearts and minds to His will, and ask for His wisdom and discernment to guide us in all that we do. By setting aside time for daily prayer, we can cultivate a deeper relationship with God and find peace and purpose in our lives..
