This free Bible app works offline with the bible texts optimised to live on your device, creating a steady Bible study experience. The App is provided free of charge and, without ads on the reading pages of The Bible.

The World English Bible, AKA WEB Bible is popularly known as an easy to read bible and easy to understand bible. You will also find the text are written in modern language - a modern bible. This makes it easy to remember and easy to memorise the word of God.

The main reading pages of the World English Bible app is 100% free of ads, providing an uninterrupted bible study experience. However, you are welcome to get the ads-free version for a small price, in the app.

Switch to your favourite reading mode - you can choose between light mode (or day mode) and dark mode (or night mode).
Select to your preferred text size
Ability to select your preferred font.
Ability to bookmark verse and manage a list of your bookmarks
Ability to highlight verse and manage a list of your highlight
You can highlight in four colours: Green, yellow, blue, and red.
Free integrated bible Journal or bible note taker, to take personal notes and journal save your bible studies and sermon.
Select and share scriptures with your preferred social platform such as email, text, social media etc.
Easy to use and friendly to manage your bible studies in one place.
The app is free to use and keep and you can remove the ads within the app.

The World English Bible (WEB) has been described as a translation of the Bible originating from the American Standard Version (ASV) of 1901. It is aimed to be a revision of the ASV with a view to making it easily understood by speakers of the English language in most levels of proficiency.

It was custom translated with the aim of making it easily understood by most English-speakers all over the world, while eliminating the need for digital internationalisation.
Compared with the American Standard Bible, the WEB replaced the divine word ‘Jehovah’ with ‘Yahweh’ in the old testament.
The WEB makes provision for some Apocryphal books.
