For instance, delivery drivers can access optimized routes and delivery schedules, while construction workers can view updated project plans and safety protocols on their devices. EMS responders can rapidly access critical patient information and navigation, and digital signage can be easily updated with the latest marketing messages or public information. Some of the features are:
(1) App Manager: A custom launcher app that provides better overall lockdown and security management.
(2) Multi-App Kiosk Mode: Allows multiple whitelisted apps in the device home screen and allows launch and use of only these apps.
(3) Single App Mode: Runs a single app only in full screen mode at all times.
(4) Lock Task Mode: Enabling this policy blocks Quick Settings, the power button and other screen over lays. This policy is very strict, and allows ONLY whitelisted application packages to be run.
(5) Screen Layout and Icon Positioning: Allows MDM to customize app icon positioning to be applied to all devices.
(6) Device Labeling: Displays a custom label (such as a truck or store ID number) to each device home screen for unique identification.
(7) Device Branding with Company Info: Allows a title and sub-title at the top of the device home screen for branding or other purposes.
Background Wallpaper: Applies a company logo or other custom wallpaper to the device home screen.
(8) Screen Lock: Mutiple user ID and PINs can be established for access to the Codeproof Kiosk screen to provide unique access credentials for multiple users. This can be particularly uses in the case of mobile point of sale (POS) systems.
(9) Built-in WiFi Connectivity: Codeproof enhances user convenience with a WiFi Manager feature embedded within the Kiosk app (App Manager). This allows users to connect to nearby WiFi networks effortlessly, even when the "Settings" app is restricted by an MDM administrator. This functionality is particularly beneficial for maintaining connectivity without compromising security or policy enforcement.
(10) Built-in Bluetooth Connectivity: The Codeproof platform introduces a Bluetooth Manager within the mobile Kiosk App, enabling end-users to easily connect and pair with Bluetooth devices, such as delivery trucks or cars. This feature proves invaluable, especially when the "Settings" app is blocked by an MDM administrator, facilitating seamless device integration in a secure manner.
(11) Accessibility Manager: Codeproof also offers an Accessibility Manager, providing end-users with the capability to adjust screen brightness, speaker, and microphone volumes, among other settings, on a locked-down device. This enhancement is crucial for maintaining user accessibility and customization, even when the "Settings" app is restricted by MDM policies.
