By leveraging handheld Android-based devices, warehouse personnel can now scan barcodes directly, eliminating the need for manual entry into the MMHF system. This streamlined approach not only accelerates data capture but also improves accuracy across inventory and warehouse operations. Real-time updates ensure greater visibility, reduced errors, and enhanced productivity on the warehouse floor.
The features available in the MMHF Mobile RF application are listed below:
• Cycling: Perform cycle counts of warehouse locations on regular basis
• Staging and Check Out: Check out items scheduled for delivery for a specific truck on a specific date
• Returns Processing: Check returns into the warehouse and the returned items are then available for resale, disposal, or delivery to an outlet location
• Inventory Lookup: Provides information about the statuses and availability of bulk and non-bulk items at different warehouse locations
• Inventory Movement: Simplifies the movement of merchandise from one location to another
• Directed Picking: Enables picking of items scheduled for delivery
• Receiving: Enables users to receive bulk and non-bulk items into the warehouse
• Relabel: Allows new RF ID numbers to be assigned to non-bulk items that are damaged or are missing ID numbers
• Status Change: Used to change the inventory status of an item
• Cross-docking: Process of moving an item from the receiving dock location directly to the staging area in preparation for delivery or pickup
