Porque temos Jesus Cristo como Senhor e Salvador, e temos como regra única e infalível de fé e prática as Sagradas Escritura do Antigo e Novo Testamento.

Porque temos nossas raízes históricas na Reforma Protestante do Século XVI, liderada por Matinho Lutero.
⚫ Calvinista
Porque nossa tradição doutrinária e litúrgica está vinculada ao reformador francês João Calvino (1509-1564), um intelectual brilhante e estudioso sério da Bíblica, que aprofundou a reforma de Lutero.
⚫ Presbiteriana
Porque adotamos a forma de governo centralizada nos concílios que são formados por presbíteros. O sistema presbiteriano de governo é representativo. O povo governa através de representantes, escolhidos em assembleia para essa finalidade.
⚫ Brasileira
Porque a Igreja Presbiteriana Independente do Brasil foi fundada por um grupo de pastores e presbíteros nacionalistas no dia 31 de julho de 1903, liderados pelo Rev. Eduardo Carlos Pereira. No dia 27 de fevereiro de 1944, organizou-se a Igreja Presbiteriana Independente de Fernandópolis/SP, tendo como seu primeiro pastor o Rev. Silas Dias.

Nossa missão é cultuar e glorificar a Deus, no poder do Espírito Santo, proclamar o Evangelho de Cristo, promover o seu Reino, o ensino e a prática das Sagradas Escrituras, o aperfeiçoamento da vida cristã e da condição humana (art. 3º - CIPIB)
