描述
Чрез SpeechLab приложенията за навигация могат да изговарят правилно и на български както командите за навигация, така и имената на улиците, селата и градовете. SMS съобщенията могат да бъдат автоматично прочетени на глас в момента на получаването им. Електронни книги, текстове, документи или PDF файлове на български могат също да бъдат изчитани на глас вместо да бъдат четени от екрана.
Чрез подходящ екранен четец (напр. TalkBack) SpeechLab осъществява изговарянето на надписите на екрана, които докосваме. Тази функционалност е успешно тествана от хора с увредено зрение. Изговарянето на предварително зададени фрази може да бъде в помощ на хората с говорни нарушения.
От сайтовете с приложения за Андроид са достъпни редица приложения, които изчитат на глас WWW страници, RSS новини, e-mail съобщения и т.н. Всички те могат да използват SpeechLab, за да изговарят български текстове.
ВАЖНО:
1. Ако имате стара версия на SpeechLab 2.0 е препоръчително да я деинсталирате и да изтриете данните за гласа Гергана от SD картата преди да инсталирате настоящата версия.
2. След инсталиране на приложението е необходимо да инсталирате и данните за гласа Гергана. Това става при първото отваряне на настройките на SpeechLab 2.0 като следвате указанията в появилия се прозорец.
3. За да използвате SpeechLab 2.0 като синтезатор по подразбиране е необходимо след инсталацията да влезете в секцията Синтезиран говор или Настройки на текст към реч в настройките на устройството. Там трябва да изберете “SpeechLab 2.0” от опциите.
4. След изпълнението на горните стъпки за да ви се изчете даден текст, файл, съобщение или друго е необходимо да имате инсталирано някое приложение с гласов интерфейс, което да осъществява съответната фугнциналност. Такива приложения са например Google Translate, Google Navigation, Google TalkBack, @Voice Aloud, както и много други налични в Google Play.
