The Arabic alphabet (Arabic: الأَلِفْبَائِيَّة الْعَرَبِيَّة al-ʾabjadīyah al-ʿarabīyah, or الْحُرُوف الْعَرَبِيَّة al-ḥurūf al-ʿarabīyah) or Arabic abjad is the Arabic script as it is codified for writing Arabic.
