الوصف
Wedi’i selio ar y gwyddorau ymddygiad, mae ARFer yn cynnig cyfres o dasgau syml i chi eu cyflawni gyda’ch cydweithwyr yn Gymraeg. Mae’r tasgau’n amrywio o ran lefel ymdrech, gyda rhai ddim ond yn cymryd ychydig o funudau i’w cwblhau.
Ers 2019, rydyn ni wedi bod yn mesur defnydd iaith mewn gweithleoedd ledled Cymru. O roi ARFer ar waith, fe welon fod y defnydd o’r Gymraeg fwy neu lai wedi dyblu ymhlith y timau sydd wedi cymryd rhan.
Rydyn ni wedi trosi ARFer i weithio ar ffurf ap er mwyn sicrhau fod y fframwaith sydd wedi profi i fod yn hynod effeithiol ar gael i chi ar flaenau eich bysedd. Mae ARFer yn ap ddwyieithog wedi’i selio ar egwyddorion newid ymddygiad i gefnogi eich defnydd o’r Gymraeg yn y gweithle. Mae ARFer yn eich galluogi i weithio drwy dasgau iaith mewn timau, tracio cynnydd, ac ennill pwyntiau. Mae gan hyn y potensial i gynyddu eich defnydd o’r Gymraeg yn y gweithle.
Mae ARFer yn ddatrysiad arloesol a chynhwysol, sydd wedi’i wreiddio ar sail tystiolaeth, i’r her o sicrhau bod y Gymraeg yn cael ei defnyddio yn y gweithle dwyieithog, a hynny gan bobl ar hyd y continwwm gallu iaith. Mae gan ARFer hefyd y potensial i sicrhau lle canolog i'r Gymraeg o fewn gweithleoedd fel ‘iaith gwaith’, yn ogystal â dwyn mwy o werthfawrogiad o werth y Gymraeg fel sgil o fewn cyd-destun gwaith. Gallai hyn godi proffil y Gymraeg a lefelau hyder unigolion (o wahanol allu iaith) i ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg.
Changing language practices is challenging, but step by step ARFer can gradually increase your use of the Welsh language in the workplace.
Based on the behavioural sciences, ARFer provides a series of tasks for you to complete in Welsh with your colleagues. The ARFer tasks will vary in effort levels, with some taking only a few minutes to complete.
Since 2019, we have been measuring the impact of ARFer on Welsh language use within workplaces across Wales. Among participating teams, we've seen that Welsh language usage has more or less doubled.
We’ve transformed ARFer into an app, ensuring easy access at your fingertips to a framework that has already proven highly effective. ARFer is a bilingual app based on behaviour change principles that supports you to use Welsh at works. ARFer allows you to work in teams on language tasks, track progress, and earn points. This has the potential to increase your use of Welsh at work.
ARFer is an evidence-based innovative and inclusive solution to the challenge of ensuring that Welsh is used in the bilingual workplace by people across the language ability continuum. ARFer also has the potential to ensure a central place for Welsh within workplaces as a ‘language for work’, with more appreciation of the Welsh language’s value as a skill within the work context. This could increase the Welsh language’s profile and the confidence levels of individuals (of varied language abilities) to use Welsh.
