In nome di Artemisia si è svolto il progetto di comunicazione rivolto agli studenti di una rete di scuole secondarie superiori che utilizzerà principalmente il metodo del laboratorio e della produzione di contenuti, progetto realizzato da Mandragola Editrice e dall'Associazione A Mano Disarmata, finanziato dal Dipartimento per le Pari Opportunità della Presidenza del Consiglio.
Il tema dell'arte come possibilità di emancipazione da degradanti stereotipi di inferiorità legati al genere e da atteggiamenti di sottomissione assoluta al potere maschile dominante ha ispirato il progetto di comunicazione. A tutti gli studenti sono stati forniti strumenti per analizzare in maniera sistematica l'attuale linguaggio utilizzato sui più comuni social media. In particolare la riflessione ha riguardato il linguaggio a connotazione sessuale negativa nei confronti delle donne e sulle frequenti giustificazioni di azioni violente. Si è affrontato anche il tema delle "vittimizzazioni secondarie" delle donne abusate. Il meccanismo in basa al quale i carnefici diventano vittime, ribaltando responsabilità, e infine dell'uso di immagini degradanti e oggettivanti del corpo femminile. Il fine è realizzare una sorta di catena di conoscenze comuni sul rispetto della donna, a partire dal linguaggio.
