Beskrivelse
Saint Garib Das (1717-1778) is known for his devotion and poetry. Garib Das created a vast collection known as the Sad Granth Sahib. He detailed the Amrit Vani of Sadguru Kabir Sahib, which is also referred to as the Ratna Sagar. According to Ach. A. Roy, the Granth Sahib by Garib Das includes 7,000 couplets by Kabir and 17,000 composed by Garib Das himself.
Garib Das's philosophy emphasized that there is no difference between Ram and Rahim. The Samadhi (memorial) of Baba Garib Das is still preserved in Chhudani village, Haryana, and in Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Saint Garib Das Ji was visited by Kabir Paramatma himself at the age of 10, who imparted knowledge to him.
