Introducing Lingua Sums by Language Hobo, the revolutionary (and completely free) way to practice your new language, train your brain, and become a math whiz all at the same time!
With Lingua Sums, you’re put to the test with randomly-generated addition, subtraction, and multiplication questions, but with an exciting twist: you need to answer these problems verbally.
We give you the sum in numerical form, and you have to respond with the answer in your target language. The app uses speech recognition software to assess your answer, so you can become proficient at numbers—and pronunciation—all in one go.
Choose from 40 languages - including French, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic, and Hindi - and hone your pronunciation while tackling the math.
Easy and hard levels available mean that anyone can give it a go; start with smaller sums on a lower difficulty or go for the bigger numbers when your confidence builds up.
And for those of you who like to challenge yourselves even further – use one of two timers and see if you can beat the clock.
