الوصف

Parchium
L’app “Parchium” nasce con l’obiettivo di creare un viaggio parallelo alla scoperta della Storia della Valle dei Templi, che non tenga conto soltanto degli aspetti storico-artistici, ma si concentri sugli interventi di tutela che a partire dal XIX secolo hanno contribuito alla creazione dell’idea stessa del Parco. È qui che gioca un ruolo fondamentale la documentazione d’archivio, che costituisce parte integrante della storia delle attività archeologiche e degli interventi di conservazione e tutela. I documenti conservati nell’Archivio di Stato di Agrigento non ci narrano la Valle dei Templi dal punto di vista della storia degli scavi e dell’analisi archeologica, ma parlano di azioni, uomini, storie e interventi a favore della salvaguardia e della tutela del patrimonio culturale.
I percorsi di visita al Parco e i punti di interesse proposti su questa app sono quindi il frutto dell’analisi e selezione della preziosa documentazione d’archivio, che offre l’opportunità per una diversa lettura della Valle dei Templi basata sugli importanti avvenimenti che riguardano la conservazione e la tutela dell’area. Si tratta di un percorso che va dall’inizio dell’Ottocento, con la presa di coscienza dell’importanza di queste antiche testimonianze, fino ad arrivare ai primi trent’anni del Novecento. Da qui in poi, diventa storia comune quella consapevolezza ed assunzione di responsabilità che ha portato, nel 1997, all’inserimento della Valle dei Templi nella lista dei beni Unesco Patrimonio Mondiale dell’Umanità.
Attraverso la scoperta di un percorso interattivo e geolocalizzato potrai scoprire un racconto inedito del patrimonio della Valle dei Templi, e arricchire l’esperienza di visita attraverso le storie d’archivio legate ai principali monumenti del Parco.
Il progetto “Parchium” nasce per promuovere conoscenza ed esperienza accessibili a tutti gli utenti. Per questa ragione, l'app propone contenuti e modi d’uso che favoriscono la fruizione da parte di utenti con bisogni speciali e coinvolgono anche i più piccoli nell’avventura della scoperta.
