Description
Esta app está orientada a servir de instrumentos para fortalecer y promover procesos de revitalización lingüística que surjan con las nuevas generaciones.
El pueblo Resígaro se ubicó inicialmente en la zona comprendida entre los ríos Caquetá y Putumayo en territorio que actualmente le pertenece al país vecino de Colombia. Con el paso del tiempo migraron a territorio peruano, y hoy viven principalmente en el departamento de Loreto. Según el INEI, en el año 2017, una comunidad nativa de la provincia Mariscal Ramón Castilla se identificó como Resígaro.
Aunque por su lengua comparten una familia lingüística con otros pueblos (Arawak), los Resígaro han estado vinculados con los pueblos Bora, Murui-Muinanɨ y Ocaina, por su historia y su ubicación. Además, se conoce que muchas familias Resígaro se han integrado en comunidades del pueblo Ocaina. Según el trabajo de campo que ha realizado el Ministerio de Educación, 1 persona han manifestado que hablan la lengua Resígaro. Además, los datos obtenidos por el Ministerio de Cultura, la población de las comunidades del pueblo Resígaro se estima en 7 personas.
