描述
The purpose of this tool is to serve general public of different ethnic groups (American, European and Asian) so that they can easily do their nutritional and biochemical assessment.
Key Features of application are:
The application has two modes:
1) Basic
2) Advanced
● Basic mode refers to nutritional assessment which includes:
a) Anthropometric assessment:
- Ideal Body weight (by using Hamwi method)
- Body Mass Index (by using standard formula)
- Waist Circumference (by using cut-off values)
- Waist to Hip ratio (by using standard formula)
b) Energy assessment:
- Resting metabolic rate
- Macronutrient distribution of required calories
c) Fluid needs estimation:
- Fluid estimation (formula based on age & weight)
● Advanced mode includes biochemical assessment which includes:
a) Lipid profile
b) Cardioprotective ratios
c) Cardiovascular risk predictor
