Why are some dogs afraid of loud noises?
Have you ever seen a dog cowering during a thunderstorm or fireworks display? Some dogs seem totally chill around loud noises, while others get really stressed. This is because dogs, like people, can be sensitive to loud, new, and unexpected sounds.
Welcome to Fearless Fido, helping your dog feel calm around noise.
It's important to train your dog to be comfortable with noise. This will help them stay calm and well-behaved in all sorts of situations.
Puppy owners: You can start training your puppy as early as 8 weeks old.
Breeders: You can start training puppies as young as 3 weeks old.
Help Your Puppy Adjust to Noises
This app can help your new puppy get comfortable with different sounds. Here's how to use it:
1. Start Slow: Begin with your phone's volume low and play one of the many sounds available.
2. Reward Good Behavior: If your puppy reacts calmly, reward them with treats. This helps them associate the sound with something positive.
3. Gradually Increase Volume: Slowly turn up the volume on your phone. You can even play the sounds through a Bluetooth speaker (but never use headphones on a dog!).

6. Consistent Practice: Regularly repeat the sound playback to help your puppy become accustomed to a variety of noises and stay calm in loud environments.
