描述
Das Laboratorium - Institut für aktuelle Kunst im Saarland ist ein An-Institut der Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar, das von einen Förderverein getragen wird. Als Archiv und wissenschaftliche Forschungseinrichtung dient es in erster Linie der Förderung von bildenden Künstlern und Künstlerinnen sowie der Kunstvermittlung. Ein Schwerpunkt der Institutsarbeit liegt auf der systematischen Erfassung und Dokumentation von Kunstwerken im öffentlichen Raum. Die App baut in der Anfangsphase auf diesen Daten auf und wird das Angebot sukzessive um Informationen aus weiteren Bereichen der bildenden Kunst und Architektur erweitern.
