UTree este o platformă IT realizată de Asociația Pando, care găzduiește catalogul online al arborilor urbani din România. Aplicația a fost dezvoltată în cadrul proiectului „PROFESORUL COPĂCEL / CE ÎI ÎNVAȚĂ ARBORII PE COPII”, finanţat din Fondul pentru Mediu în cadrul Programului vizând educaţia şi conştientizarea publicului privind protecţia mediului. Este completat de către voluntari – locuitorii entuziaști – care prezintă interes asupra aspectului spațiilor verzi. Acest catalog asigură informații actualizate în mod regulat despre starea arborilor din oraș și calculează beneficiul lor ecologic.

A katalógust önkéntesek – a zöldterületek iránt elkötelezett lakosok – töltik fel és frissítik. Az adatbázis rendszeresen naprakész információkkal szolgál a városi fák állapotáról, valamint kiszámítja azok ökológiai hasznát is.

UTree is an IT platform hosted by the Pando Association, featuring Romania’s online catalogue of urban trees. The application was developed as part of the project titled “PROFESORUL COPĂCEL/ CE ÎI ÎNVAȚĂ ARBORII PE COPI”, financed by the Environment Fund within the Program aiming at environmental education and public awareness. More information on www.afm.ro.
The catalogue is enriched by volunteers – enthusiastic local residents – who care deeply about the quality of green spaces. It provides regularly updated information on the state of urban trees and calculates their ecological benefits.
