PefTrak is a professional MIDI utility designed for musicians who want to push their SEQTRAK beyond its limits. Its core mission is to unlock the capability of playing multiple sound engines simultaneously, allowing you to create rich, layered textures and complex arrangements in real-time from a single MIDI controller.
Key Features:
Multi-Engine Routing: Play the SYNTH 1, SYNTH 2, and DX engines at the same time! PefTrak intelligently routes your MIDI input to up to three separate tracks on your SEQTRAK, each with its own sound, effect, and settings.
Create Massive Layers: Trigger a deep bass from SYNTH 1, a lush pad from SYNTH 2, and a classic FM lead from the DX engine—all with a single key press.
Intuitive Performance Controls: Manage the volume, EQ, and FX send level for each of your three routed tracks directly from the app's interface.
Advanced Sound & Effect Selection: Quickly browse and assign any preset sound or insert effect from the SEQTRAK's extensive internal library to each of your performance tracks.
FM Algorithm Control: Take direct control of the DX engine by selecting any of the 12 unique FM algorithms for deep sound design on the fly.
Preset Management: Save your complex multi-track routing configurations as presets. Instantly recall your favorite setups for different songs or performances. Includes backup and restore functionality to keep your presets safe.
How It Works:
PefTrak listens to an incoming MIDI channel from your controller (keyboard, sequencer, etc.). It then re-channels the notes and CC messages to your configured output tracks on the SEQTRAK, complete with your chosen program changes and effect settings. This turns your compact groove box into a versatile sound module perfect for the stage or studio.
