Nestled in the heart of Ocean County, is a beacon of non-profit radio broadcasting. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization under WWN Educational Radio Corporation, we pride ourselves on offering an eclectic mix of the greatest hits spanning decades and genres. From the timeless melodies of the Great American Songbook featuring legends like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Ella Fitzgerald, to the groundbreaking tunes of the Golden Age of Rock-N-Roll with icons such as Elvis Presley and the Beatles, WBNJ curates a playlist of Unforgettable Favorites. We also embrace modern talents like Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé, ensuring our music selection spans generations and keeps the rich history of music alive for our listeners.

Operating without state or federal funding, WBNJ relies on the generosity of our community—supported through underwriting by area businesses and donations from listeners like you. Our entirely volunteer staff is united by a passion for music and a commitment to enriching our listeners lives, providing more than just tunes; we aim to evoke memories, bring joy, and offer a musical sanctuary.

Dedicated to our local community, WBNJ actively participates in area events and offers free public service announcements for non-profit groups, emphasizing our role as a pillar of support and education. Through specialty talk programs, we cover a wide array of topics from financial planning to car repair advice, fostering knowledge and engagement within our audience.

As we celebrate our 13th year and strive to continue our 24/7, year-round broadcast, your contribution, regardless of size, becomes a pivotal part of our journey.
