LockIt adds a floating lock icon that appears over any app. With a single tap, you can lock your screen to prevent accidental presses of the navigation bar, playback controls, or other on-screen elements, perfect for:
Key Uses:
Watching Videos: Hand your phone to a child or simply prop it up to watch a movie without worrying about them pausing, skipping, or leaving the app.
Listening to Music/Podcasts: Keep your screen on but locked while your device is in your pocket or bag.
Following Recipes or Reading: Lock the screen on a specific page or guide to avoid losing your place.
Using Navigation Apps: Ensure your route stays on the screen without being accidentally closed or interacted with.
How It Works:
A discreet, floating lock icon appears on top of all your apps (requires 'Display over other apps' permission). Tap the floating icon or the main app button to instantly lock the screen and block all touch input. To unlock, simply touch the screen to reveal the hidden unlock button, then tap the button. The unlock button auto-hides after 3 seconds for a clean, uninterrupted view.
