ACORD Mobile is designed for a broad audience; civil engineers, carpenters, technicians, architects, and engineer students alike.

Are you a professional?
You often have to provide a cross-section estimate on short notice on-site or at a customer meeting. With ACORD Mobile on your phone, you now have an application that allows you to calculate and optimize your wooden or steel beams easily and precisely wherever you are.

Are you a student?
Go effortlessly from theory to practice. Look at diagrams of bending moment, shear, or deflection and understand statics. Learn the intricacies of Eurocode 3 (steel) and 5 (wood, timber) in a fun and enjoyable way.

Download ACORD Mobile and you’ll be able to:
-Analyze the static behavior of a member on multiple supports and under any loads

-Design floor and roof beams in accordance with Eurocode 3 (steel) and 5 (wood, timber) standards

- Create beams and define their geometry with ease:
Multiple spans, boundary conditions, slope, etc.

- Define multiple loads in different categories as you please or use our tools to guide you:
Permanent loads: With the help of our libraries, you can choose to apply predefined floors or roofs and even create your own and save them. Apply self-weight automatically if needed.
Live loads: Choose the category of loaded areas and the usages that apply to your case to apply the characteristic values as defined by the European guidelines.
Snow loads: Define your country, zone, and altitude using our tool and maps to aid you. The corresponding snow load will be calculated automatically, taking into consideration the slope and the related National Annex.

- Perform your analysis and design in a quick and straightforward way:
Make the right decisions for your material category and cross-section dimensions using our optimization tool. Verify all relevant displacement and resistance criteria depending on your material and charges. Automatically calculate all Eurocode linear combinations.

- See your results in detail:
The educational presentation of the detailed equations explains the path and the intermediate calculations leading to the results of the verification. It allows you to understand in-depth the structural analysis carried out. You get graphs of each Eurocode criterion for each linear combination as well as an envelope.

You also get nicely presented interactive diagrams for bending moment (M), shearing force (V), normal force (N), stress (S), displacements(w), rotation(θ), and reactions (R).
