Alvin A.I. is for you who love A.I. and programming.
Alvin is an Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) that has a conversation with you. To program it just type or speak English sentences. You can program it new concepts, things, logic and procedures to implement what you want.
The app comes with a basic version of Alvin A.I. that you can program further.
Just tap the background to speak to Alvin or alternatively just type text to chat with Alvin.
Here are some examples of what you can do with Alvin:
To just have a chitchat:
> Hi!
> Hello!
> How do you do?
> How are you?
> What are you?
> Who are you?
> What time is it?
> What day is it?
... please note that you are not supposed to type the ">" character.
To program Alvin new information:
> My name is John.
> I have a dog.
> My dog's name is Jojo.
> Jojo is nice.
To test that Alvin got the information right:
> What is my name?
> What is my dog's name?
To call already programmed procedures:
> Say my name.
> Say "Bla bla". <---- *** notice the double quote characters you need to type ***
> Tell me about my dog.
To program a new procedure for making a dog to sit down:
> To make a dog to sit down.
> Call the dog by the name of the dog.
> Ask the dog to sit.
> End.
... and then call it.
> Make my dog to sit down.
To avoid retyping same text over and over you can copy text from a speech bubble to the clipboard by pressing it long time. Then just long press the text prompt line to paste it there. A long press elsewhere sets the X-cursor (to be used with opened images/taken pictures later on).
A short press anywhere (except the Menu bar and the text prompt line) triggers the speech recognition to let you talk with Alvin.
You can redefine any existing procedure by just asking it first e.g.
> How to make a dog to sit down?
... and then copying it (long press on the speech bubble) and pasting it to text prompt and then modify it and then press the send button (">"). Notice! Do not edit procedures that are running! It may crash the app still.
In case Alvin gets crazy you can reset it via "Menu -> Reset" option.
You can write the program also to a text file and then ask Alvin to read it via "Menu -> Read File" option. This way you won't loose the programmed things when you reset Alvin next time.
In case Alvin does not know yet some word, you can teach it and its different forms to him and then try again, e.g.
> I play flute.
< I don't know the word "flute".
> Flute and flutes are nouns.
> I play flute.
> I have a dog.
> My dog barks.
< I don't know the word "barks".
> Bark, barked, barked and barks are verbs.
> My dog barks.
> I am annoyed.
< I don't know the word "annoyed".
> Annoyed is an adjective.
> I am annoyed.
> I am somewhat angry.
< I don't know the word "somewhat".
> Somewhat is an adverb.
> I am somewhat angry.

Notice! This release is work-in-progress and for testing purposes only. It is not complete and have bugs in it. It is provided only for co-development of Alvin AI in the open community.
Known issues:
- In some products the file open dialogs don't show Ok/Cancel buttons, overcome for now by using a single click selection. Also on some devices the dialogs are unreadable since both the text and background are both white.
- Very slow on low CPU devices.
