It is an official document that records all the important occurrence that appear during the progress of a construction site.
This documentation can be of great importance, especially in the event of failures in the construction process or disputes with other construction participants. According to its purpose, the construction diary should record reliably and conclusively the entire construction process, which the site manager has to monitor, with details such as personal and material use, weather, special issues, delays, hindrances, defects.

Text blocks: all user input is used as text suggestions for later input. In future reports, recurring texts only have to be selected and adjusted if necessary, but no longer have to be typed in full. These text blocks are transferred from the computer to the mobile device with every synchronization.
Photos: Photos are added from the device's library or taken directly from the report and stamped with the date of the photo's Exif data. They can be edited (write and draw in photos) after synchronization and uploaded to the web as an HTML photo album.
Audio: text can be recorded with the dictation function, which can then be conveniently played back and transcribed in the office.
Offline operation: no internet connection is required for the app, it is not a web app. Data connections are not available on many construction sites, so the offline operation of construction diary software is an important criterion. Only synchronization requires a connection. With Android devices, the project can also be transferred via memory card, USB cable or email.
Contacts import: the contacts from the smartphone or tablet can be completely imported into the company lists of the project. Companies can also be added at any point in the app without directly opening and editing the company lists.
Functions: in addition to the usual categories for construction diaries, a defect management with photo function, personnel management, device and machine management, as well as plan and document management are also integrated.
Synchronization: the synchronization that is problematic with many apps is solved here simply by sending the project file by email. The convenient Dropbox and Google Drive synchronization are also integral parts of the app. Android devices can also use the MicroSD card and USB cable to exchange data.
Languages: the apps are available in German, English and Spanish. The proportion of international orders is constantly increasing, so changing the language of the apps is a practical and sometimes necessary feature. The apps have been translated by professional native speakers from the construction industry.
Support: When comparing different programs, functionality and price are often the only decisive criteria. Later you are faced with the problem of not being able to work with the software for days or even weeks because the support does not answer, which is unforgivable in construction projects with deadline pressure. For this reason, it makes sense to ask the support team a few questions by email before purchasing a license in order to determine the response times.
