Essential Backup

Backup your important data with Essential Backup.

Backup and restore Contacts, SMS, Call log, Calendar anns apps (only APKs) found on your Android phone. Create backups to your phone storage or your Cloud storage - Google Drive.

If you want to preserve your essential phone data, this is the right app for you.

Backup your data so that you could recover it later. Restore saved data from your Phone storage or Google Drive.

You can also use this app to transfer data between phones - backup data from one phone and restore your data to another phone.

Contacts are preserved in VCF file format.
SMS, Call log and Calendar events are preserved in JSON file format.

Backup consists of those files that are inside a zip archive and you can easily read those files in your phone or computer!
Default backup location will probably be the internal storage and not the external storage. This is because the phone reports the storage that way. You can change backup location to external storage in the app Settings.

Essential Backup does not require root to perform backup and restore operations.

Notice:
- Essential Backup cannot backup and restore application data or settings of apps. It can backup and restore APK files only.
