Here’s how it works:
You choose which apps to block and organize them into groups. When it’s time to disconnect, you just scan your OffNow Card on your phone. Instantly, the selected apps are locked. They stay locked until you bring the Card back and scan it again. No workarounds, no cheating.
You can hide the Card, leave it at home, or hand it to someone you trust. Without it, the apps stay blocked. It’s like a digital break switch — simple, physical, and surprisingly effective.
Choose from three beautiful Card designs and turn your intention to focus into a tangible act. Whether you want to study without distractions, spend more time with loved ones, or just be more present, OffNow helps you do it — one tap at a time.
This app uses the AccessibilityService API to block distracting apps
To reliably block access to distracting apps, OffNow uses Android’s AccessibilityService API. This allows the app to detect when selected apps are opened and display a blocking overlay, ensuring they stay locked until you choose to unlock them. OffNow only uses this service for its core purpose — helping you stay focused by blocking apps you’ve selected, with your explicit consent.
OffNow does not collect personal data, record audio, or interfere with system settings. Our use of AccessibilityService follows Google Play’s policy guidelines and is fully transparent to you.
You’ll need an OffNow Card to use the app. You can order one at www.offnow.app or follow the link in the app.
