ShowMyDay er bygget op omkring et meget intuituvt web-baseret menu system, hvor brugerens dagsstruktur opbygges. Databasen indeholder de p.t. kendte visuelle/audiovisuelle elementer, der tilpasses individuelt til brugeren og således danner baggrund for brugerens visuelle strukturering.
Den vises på dennes smartphone eller tablet.
ShowMyDay kan programmeres world wide – blot man har internetadgang.
Databasen kan naturligvis tilføres egne fotos, piktogrammer, tegninger m.v. der således gør det personligt for brugeren.
Herudover en række fagmæssige funktioner som; Tage ressourcemålinger, vælge mellem aktiviteter, belønnings-system, uddybende beskrivelse af opgave, push-up beskeder, skræddersy det visuelle udtryk, print din dag, deling af viden på tværs af brugere.
For brugeren er der også mulighed for at kommunikere ”retur” til administratorer med beskeder, noter og billeder. En medialog danner dokumentation for denne kommunikation.
For fagpersonalet findes en kontaktlog hvor al kommunikation mellem tilknyttede administratorer kan foregå - f.eks. til forældre m.v.
ShowMyDay er bl.a. udviklet i samarbejde med Fjordskolens Viden- og kompetencecenter, Aspit, JHO Consult, Aabenraa Kommune, Syddansk Teknologisk Innovation og UCSyddanmark.
