Timey - Focus Timer
Having trouble focusing? Can't stop procrastinating? Timey can help you stay focused on your goals by organizing your time and removing unnecessary distractions.

It's very easy: you plant a seed, put your phone down and focus on your tasks. As you do it, your seed will grow into a flourishing plant. But if you stop focusing and leave the app, the bud will die and you will lose.

In order to fight climate change, we also decided to give users the possibility to plant real trees on Earth. The more you focus, the more real trees you will be able to plant. This way you will be able to improve yourself and help the environment at the same time! (The trusted non-profit-organization we rely on is Trees for Future).

To maximize your focusing time, we have implemented a series of techniques that have been shown to increase productivity.:

● Pomodoro technique: set a timer for a specific amount of time and focus
until it rings. After the session has ended, enjoy a short break of a
few minutes and then start again. After repeating this for four sessions,
you can enjoy a longer break. Psychologists have demonstrated how
splitting up your tasks in more sessions can maximize your productivity.

● Statistics: keep track of your past records and learn where your
weaknesses are. Timey divides your past records in every single hour, day,
week, month and year! Learn when you focus the most, how much time you
dedicate to each activity and the reasons why you fail more often!

● Custom plants and sounds: enjoy your experience by always unlocking new
plants and sounds. There's a wide variety of white sounds: rain, sea, forest,
urban, cafe, jazz etc. which have shown to help people stay concentrated.

● Organize: divide your focusing time in different activities to achieve better
results and keep track of your time management.

● Habits: start building productive habits right now! Timey let's you establish
and mantain an habit through reminders and detailed statistics. If you want
to start reading for at least ten minutes every day, Timey could help you!

● Friends: everything is funnier together! You can now focus with your
friends, classmates or collegues. If one fails to concentrate, everybody's
tree will die! You can also keep track of your friends' records and compete
between each other.
