Sonim’s proprietary XPand connector was designed to extend the capabilities of the XP6 and XP7 smartphones through rugged and permanently attached peripherals. The Push-to-Talk enabled XP6 and XP7 are modern Android smartphones with outstanding outdoor viewing ability, multi-shift battery life and glove touch usability. When the XP6 or XP7 smartphones and KBM-XP67 XPand 1D Laser Barcode Scanner are combined with the Sonim Barcode Scanner Application or an application from a Sonim partner, the solution has the lowest total cost of ownership, highest reliability, and best usability of any comparable system. The application utilizes an SDK from Koamtac that provides increased functionality. This SDK is available for 3rd party integration on Sonim’s Developer Portal (https://developers.sonimtech.com/). The Portal provides access to the all of the resources you need such as: SDKs (Sonim Android Developers Kit, Sonim Solutions Interface Guides,), Drivers, Firmware. We strive to help you optimize your applications to get the most out of the unique hardware and software features that our platforms and solutions have to offer.
