Description
Die so beschichtete PET-Folie wird PVD-seitig auf die Produktoberfläche aufgelegt, aufgespannt oder als selbstklebende Variante in der Fokus-Ebene eines Standard-Beschriftungslasers fixiert.
Bei geeignet eingestellten Laserparametern bewirkt die Aktivierung des Laserstrahls, dass die PVD-Schicht von der PET-Folie auf die Produktoberfläche übertragen wird und dabei gleichzeitig die spezifischen, fälschungssicheren Eigenschaften implementiert werden.
Sowohl mit den PVD-Verfahren als auch durch die Wechselwirkung der PVD-Schicht mit dem Laserstrahl lassen sich Eigenschaften und Funktionalitäten in den Schichten generieren, die mit anderen Beschichtungsverfahren gar nicht möglich sind. Konkret bedeutet das, dass die Erzeugung der Laserschichten nicht den thermochemischen Gleichgewichtskonditionen unterliegt.
Die Fälschungssicherheit ist dadurch gewährleistet, dass sowohl die Beschichtungsprozess-parametereinstellungen während der Herstellung der Laserfolien genau bekannt sein müssen als auch die exakten Laserparametereinstellungen für die laserinduzierten Beschriftungen – die wiederum für die jeweilige, spezifische Produktoberfläche angepasst wurden.
Ein Re-Engineering der aufgelaserten, fälschungssicheren Schichten ist nicht möglich.
Die Art der Authentifizierung wird in Absprache mit dem Kunden festgelegt und kann z.B. mit dem Smartphone erfolgen.
In die fälschungssichere Kennzeichnung können auch weitere Informationen integriert werden, z.B. in Form eines Data-Matrix-Codes, der selbst fälschungssicher ausgestaltet ist – aber mit handelsüblichen Apps wie ein „gewöhnlicher Code“ ausgelesen werden kann.
